Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their tables
- Provide menus and answer any questions about menu items
- Take reservations and manage the seating chart
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
