Summary:
The primary duty of the Outbound Sales Representative is to sell Company goods or products to customers, wholesalers, or distributors, sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, and understand customer needs and requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
- Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
- Achieve quarterly milestones and close sales.
- Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
- Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
- Regularly study accounts and identify important players.
- Train customers' employees to operate and maintain new equipment.
- Prepare sales contracts and order forms.
- Researching and qualifying new leads.
- Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
- Forward orders to manufacturers.
- Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years experience on a Sales Team
Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group presentations to customers, clients, and other employees of the company. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Listens and gets clarification. Listens to others without interrupting.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations. Exceptional organizational skills required. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
