The Analyst IV Inventory Performance is responsible for the strategic productivity and tactical execution of client' provisioning inventory. The Analyst will accomplish tactical inventory execution through active project management and inventory planning. A continuous focus on improving operational reliability by finding trends in data and developing ways to leverage that information to reduce disruptions to the operation. Improves operational reliability by minimizing out of stock events. Development of tools for managing inventory.

Responsibilities
- Monitors vendor and supplier execution to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Support transition timelines to meet requirements for new product launches.
- Extracts data from a variety of sources for use in analysis and models; leverage data for ad-hoc reporting, identifying issues, performing root cause analysis.
- Translating data into meaningful insights and present recommendations to key decision makers.
- Develops inventory requirements for initial provisioning in support of new fleet growth.
- Monitors, analyzes and reports on performance against plan.
- Continuously interface with business groups throughout United to understand organizational needs and design.
- Drive continuous improvement through the systematic use of tools, techniques and analysis.
- Provides actionable insight to short- and long-term forecasts for the purposes of budgetary planning and integrated business planning.

- Bachelor's Degree in quantitative field like Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Business, Aviation management or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 1 year experience in fields of the Analytics, Supply Chain, Airline or Manufacturing Industry
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Self-Motivated and engrained Continuous Improvement experience
- Strong people skills and ability to develop internal and external relationships
- Proven ability to generate consensus amongst disparate viewpoints
- Demonstrated abilities to find creative ways to reduce operational costs
