What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver for the re-start of Vintage Home Care position at Vintage Home & Residential Care?
Duties:
- Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the individuals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow all protocols and guidelines related to patient care, including HIPAA regulations.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need.
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of senior care or hospice care is a plus.
- Familiarity with administering medications and monitoring vital signs is beneficial.
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
