Job Description:
The General Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Hotel Operations and is responsible for achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee development while maintaining the integrity of the hotel.

Job Description:
The General Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Hotel Operations and is responsible for achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee development while maintaining the integrity of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct oversight and management of all hotel managers.
- Ensure all hotel disciplines (divisions) operate efficiently and effectively.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve excellence.
- Represent the hotel at community events and as the "face" of the company.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership, guests, and community members.
- Ensure compliance with management company standards for personnel administration, service, and pricing.
- Drive guest satisfaction and financial performance.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities to employees while supervising work activities.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate training, including safety training and standard operating procedures.
- Allocate funds, authorize expenditures, and assist department managers in budget planning.
- Monitor cost controls across all departments.
- Address and resolve guest complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Handle and resolve employee concerns effectively.
- Audit daily and monthly reports to ensure operational accuracy.
- Manage supply and equipment orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain proximity to the property to address hotel situations and emergencies promptly.
- Uphold guest and employee safety and play a critical role in emergency response efforts.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
- Ensure daily bank deposits, including weekends and holidays.
- Highly energetic and motivated leaders with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer/client focus and the ability to foster a culture of outstanding hospitality.
- Proven experience in sales, operations, yield management, financial reporting, and delegation.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Results-driven mindset with adaptability to change.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Flexibility regarding overtime and extended hours during peak business periods.
- Prior experience as a hotel General Manager is required.
- Associate degree or higher level of education preferred.
- Experience leading a hotel through renovation, rebranding, or relaunch is highly desirable.
- Salary Range: $195,000 - $205,000
