Summary: Accommodates guests of hotel by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Front Desk Staff, Management, and other hotel departments in providing guest assistance and miscellaneous needs.
Bellmen are a welcoming presence in the lobby to assist with guest arrivals and departures. They may open doors of arriving guests, guests may require assistance carrying luggage into or out of the hotel or managing lobby doors. Every encounter with a guest should be helpful and cordial.
Respond to guest questions either in person or over the phone in a courteous and professional manner; provides information including but not limited to directions, shopping, dining, entertainment, hotel services, and safety.
Fulfilling guests’ need, ensuring their stay is as pleasurable as possible.
Assist front desk as directed; May include hotel guest check-in and check-out, answering internal and external phone calls, and using Open Table software for John Ash and RVC reservations.
Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of hotel and area attractions.
Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Operational knowledge of Windows, e-mail software (preferably Outlook) and general knowledge of how to navigate the Web (for guest services such as maps/directions, information to local attractions, etc)
