IT Manager

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization's technology infrastructure and ensure the effective management of IT services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure management. This role requires excellent supervisory skills, as well as proficiency in various software and technologies to support our team and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the IT department, ensuring effective collaboration among team members.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Manage disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data loss.
• Oversee the administration of remote access software to facilitate secure connectivity for remote employees.
• Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware components.
• Utilize VMWare for virtualization management to improve resource utilization and system performance.
• Implement Agile methodologies to streamline project management processes within the IT team.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
• Prepare reports on IT activities, performance metrics, and project status for senior management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT management role with a strong understanding of IT service management principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Experience with supervising teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution strategies.
• Familiarity with remote access software solutions for secure connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with VMWare or similar virtualization technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality IT services.
