VIP Auto Accessories is an aftermarket and OEM automotive accessory distributor/installer seeking a motivated print shop manager. Previous sign shop or vehicle wrap experience is required. In this role you’ll be part of the team responsible for supporting our sales staff and fulfilling our dealerships' needs. You’ll work in our Graphics division to design, print and finish vehicle wraps, window displays, and decals. You’ll use your knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite to create or modify designs for output to media. You’ll use your precision and attention to detail to produce and finish professional vehicle, display, and print graphics. You'll use your strong project management skills to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines.
Job Duties / Responsibilities: Must have the ability to run all aspects of wide format graphics shop, including:
- Design different graphic layouts for customers, including vehicle/trailer wraps and wide format signage
- Operating Epson wide format printer & Graphtec FC8600 cutting plotter
- Operating cold roll laminator to laminate graphics
- Trim, weed, and mask graphics
- Responsible for ordering all materials for shop and job, vinyl ink, over laminate, shop supplies
- Accurately package items per company standards for shipment
- Provide quotes and bids for retail and commercial jobs
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Proofreading designs and performing quality assurance
- Work directly with Commercial Manager to schedule on site or in shop installations with customers
- Have great customer service skills
- Other duties as determined by Commercial Manager
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Onyx or Flexi RIP software
- Ability to multitask, delegate, and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to follow both written and oral instructions as well as communicate well with others
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read measuring devices
- Physically able to stand on feet all day as well as lift heavy items
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
