What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Mechanic position at VIP Employment Solutions LLC?
Our client is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic on 1st Shift in Acton, MA This position will require diagnosing and repairing our facility equipment and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor by performing some of the following duties :
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Installation, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical industrial equipment.
- 3 - 5 years related experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
- Knowledge of hydraulics, light plumbing and welding.
- Basic understanding of blue prints and equipment identification.
- Must be able to effectively communicate fluently in English
Requirements :
Location : Acton, MA
Schedule : Mon-Fri 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, with a Saturday rotation (every 4-5 weeks)
Pay : $30-35 DOE
Compensation : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
