Benefits :The Majestic Inn & Spa is looking for an experienced Breakfast Cook to execute our menu and further enhance our Hotel's well-established breakfast program. The ideal candidate will have significant experience running breakfast in a busy kitchen producing consistent, high-level dishes.
What we're looking for :
- experience running a busy breakfast line
- genuine culinary expertise
- griddle / flat-top master
- a wizard with eggs, flawless poached
- the ability to produce sauces and ingredients from scratch
- a collaborative leader
- positive and punctual
- ability to work early hours
- extremely organized, stickler for FIFO, labeling, dating etc.
- baking, desserts, sourdough, pastries a plus
- 3 years of experience as a breakfast cook
- knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- food handler's permit or certification
The Breakfast Cook reports to the Executive Chef while facilitating the morning kitchen program with the breakfast team. Additional duties are often required for events at the property, including cooking / prep for banquets, weddings and other parties across any of our five event venues.
