VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a PLC technician for a leading organization in Belen, NM

As a PLC Technician you will :

  • Troubleshoot and upgrade existing Equpment to new equipment design & Implementation.
  • Perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment.
  • Implement machine control knowledge and understand classical control theory.
  • Operate Fluke Meters, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Elaborate electrical schematic drawings using AutoCad and Autocad electrical
  • SCADA developing knowledge : Ignition, Python and Labview

PLC Technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • BA in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred
  • 3 or more years engineering experience with direct PLC programming required
  • PLC programming experience required
  • HMI development with RSview32, FT view & C-more panels
  • Hardware design experience with PCL / VFD wiring diagrams
  • Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix & Micrologix
  • Experience with Koyo PLC programming
  • Industrial network protocols knowledge with Ethernet I / P, DeviseNET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP.
  • Motion control Knowledge with servo, stepper, DC, AC drives
  • Serial communication knowledge with RS232 / 485.

    • This is a Full Time, Temp to Hire opportunity

    Pay for this position is $31.26-$34.20 per hour DOE
