Must-Haves
- Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or Ultrasonography
- Associate’s Degree
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Sonography
- RRT (R) with a KY License

Description
- Receives patients, explains procedure method, and ensures the patient is comfortable.
- Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.
- Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
- Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound, and keeps patient flow smooth.
- Assists radiologist with interventional procedures as ordered. (eg; parenthesis, needle aspirations/biopsy, etc)
