The Demand and Supply Chain planner develops production plans supporting the consensus demand plans, leads the supply aspects of the Sales & Operations Planning process for his/her respective products, and drives efficient use of production resources. The senior supply chain planner also generates detailed schedules and submits purchase orders for production needed to satisfy customer orders and achieve fill rate expectations.
