What you will do
The Production Labeling Lead is designed to be a liaison between the Production Manager and the rest of the Production Techs. While working alongside the team the Production Labeling Lead can assign tasks (that fit into the overall task assigned by the Production Manager), make on the spot decisions, answer questions, and give directions in the absence of the Production Manager. The Production Labeling Lead will work closely with the Production Manager to make sure the overall production plan is carried out.

Qualifications
*$15/hour upon hire. After 60 days of service, a $2/hr. increase is received. After 90 days of service, an additional $2/hr. increase is received. Any employee designated as a lead by the Employer shall receive a differential of $4.00 per hour in addition to their regular rate.*

- In regard to pace of work, attitude, and work ethic - It will be expected that the Production Labeling Lead will help ensure time wasting is limited, breaks are timely, team attitude is generally positive, ect.
- Report any issues to the Production Manager and work together to come up with a solution.
- Maintain record keeping for secondary packaging.
- Work with the Production Manager in overseeing secondary packaging for flower and lab lots.
- Pull lots based off the corresponding work orders and confirm counts are accurate.
- Make sure that lots are checked in/out properly by signing off on chain of custody paperwork.
- Verify correct packaging and labels are being used.
- Confirm quality has checked and signed off on each work order
- Pull the necessary retains when required.
- Verify all work orders are filled out accurately and signed.
- Be able to answer questions from team members / help on projects pertaining to any aspect of secondary packaging.
- Perform visual checks of all production spaces currently in use and report any issues to the Production Manager.
- Work with team members to carry out production plans and goals.
- Perform other job duties as requested.
- Help disseminate information from the Production Manager to the rest of the production team.
- Report problems, progress, and any changes to the Production Manager.
- Potential changes to any aspect of production must be reported to and approved by the Production Manager before being carried out.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3 years’ experience working in a regulated environment with automated or semi-automated equipment
- Proficiency with MS Office required
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to change in the work environment
