POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for identification of non-loyalty club member players on the casino floor and signing them up, capturing interests and preferences from these players, and maintaining them to ensure increased frequency and share of gaming budget.
This position reports to Director of Casino Marketing within Mohegan Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
Requirements:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (includes but not limited to)
Acts as guest liaison to handle guest issues and ensures guest satisfaction
Identifies and greets casino guests around the property, including pit, slot areas and sports book
Identify un-carded guests, initiate conversation and enroll in the player's club; make player cards as needed
Is familiar with all levels of the loyalty program and its benefits, perks, and rewards
Ensure that all members of the program are aware of the benefits associated with their player card level
Responsible for exercising discretion and using independent judgment to make cost effective and revenue driven comp decisions
Displays a comprehensive knowledge of MSCLV comping and rating guidelines
Ensures guest satisfaction through relationship building and helpfulness
Maintains visibility on the property, especially the casino floors, high-limit areas and VIP check in
Maintains and achieves all accountability goals and objectives set forth by management
Supports all MSCLV marketing efforts
Takes ownership of guest requests and seeks assistance if outside of scope of position
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicates guest and team member feedback with management
Maintains and respects confidentiality of guest and employee information and databases as well as any internal information regarding our marketing programs or offers
Maintains awareness of suspicious activity and intoxicated or underage guests
Works closely with internal departments and tenants to maximize guest service
Attends on-site and off-site events, as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience involving guest contact in high volume casino environment or hospitality industry
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management and relationship building skills
Able to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
COMPETENCIES: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Knowledge of MSCLV department policies and procedures and Mohegan Sun's "Spirit of Aquai" culture
Knowledge of property and all its offerings
Excellent negotiation and reasoning skills
Working knowledge of player systems, including IGT Advantage, hostViz, and others applicable
SMART alcohol awareness and attend required training sessions offered by MCSCLV
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud sound, and low lighting
Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to use computers and other electronic devices for long periods of time
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
