Duties & Responsibilities | Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center Mission “To improve the lives of all Virginians by delivering cutting-edge cancer care through patient-centered prevention and treatment; high-impact, innovative research; community input and engagement; and education and training of the next generation of researchers and healthcare professionals.” VCU is committed to hiring veterans! This position will report to the Director of the Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials: Career Development Award (Winn CDA) is a transformative two-year program dedicated to supporting the career development of early-stage investigator physicians. It prepares them to become independent clinical trial investigators focused on advancing health equity through their research and mentoring. To ensure the program’s success and long-term impact, it is essential to appoint a highly qualified individual at an executive level who will oversee and manage the program’s various components. This leadership role is crucial for the following reasons: Comprehensive Oversight and Strategic Leadership (30%) Fundraising and Resource Development (20%) Marketing and Communications (10%) Application, Review, and Tracking Process (5%) Curriculum Development (15%) Evaluation, KPI Development, and Data Analysis (15%) Alumni Engagement and Network Development (5%) This is a restricted position. This position is eligible for flexible work arrangements. |
