Duties & Responsibilities | Position Primary Purpose and General Duties: The Housekeeping Manager ensures that the University Student Commons and surrounding outside areas are maintained in clean condition in compliance with USC Housekeeping Performance Standards (“Standards”) and the highest industry standards through individual work and contributing efforts as part of the overall housekeeping team; supervises all housekeeping personnel for both the Student Commons and Hunton Student Center. Provides initial and on-going housekeeper training per USC Housekeeping Standards for all housekeeping staff members to improve efficiency; manages timekeeping through RealTime; conducts inspection tours to check housekeeping of public areas, offices, restrooms, and meeting and event spaces of the University Student Commons; maintains inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment; orders supplies and equipment; processes maintenance requests of equipment.
