Mission or Goal of Unit: The mission of the school of nursing is to champion health
and well-being through the power of nursing education, discovery and practice. Chief Purpose of this position: VCU School of Nursing invites applications for an open rank, 12-month term faculty position. The faculty member hired into this position will teach in undergraduate and/or graduate areas; contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation; coordinate clinical sections and clinical education sites; clinically supervise students in undergraduate clinical; participate in school governance activities, and implement all roles of term faculty (teaching, scholarship, and service). Faculty appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement, certifications, and teaching experience.
