Responsibilities
The adjunct instructor will teach CLRS 232: Radiation Safety in person at the College of Health Professions.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
- Develop and present coursework in a core radiation science course.
- Pursue excellence by utilizing appropriate teaching strategies.
- Develop course objectives, content collaboration with the department chair and in accordance with the program goals.
- Actively participate in course and curricular evaluation and development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree at the time of hire.
- Certification in a radiologic technology profession by either the ARRT or NMTCB.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of professionalism, respect, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU.
- Experience instructing in a classroom and laboratory setting.
- Experience teaching undergraduate health professional students.
- Experience using Canvas learning systems.
