We are looking for a competent Siteworks Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at heavy construction sites. A site works foreman has a solid background in the pre-construction stage of a project.
You will be the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions.
You must be well-organized and place safety above everything else, while working along side your team members.
Summary/Objective -The foreman supervises a crew of laborers and operators in the installation of pipe, manholes, waterline. Supervises excavation, pot-holing, ditch digging
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 45 plus hours per week. Weekend work is required as job duties demand.
Essential Functions
- Supervises a crew of up to 10 employees and prioritizes work.
- Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.
- Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.
- Enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
- Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
- Attends branch operation meetings as required.
Preferred Education and Experience
3 yrs working as foreman
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Experience with Sitework, Heavy Equipment Operation, Excavation, Reading Plans & Drawings, Grading
