Job Duties
Norfolk State University invites applications for the position of Administrative Associate for the TRIO Office and the Classic Upward Bound Program (CUB). The Administrative Associate will provide analysis and support for TRIO and CUB which involves interfacing with many NSU departments / offices, (Budget, Procurement, Grants, Provost, Housing, Admissions, Catering, etc.).
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of TRIO and the Classic Upward Bound Coordinator, the Administrative Associate will
- Assist with administering the daily operations of the TRIO Office and the Classic Upward Bound program in accordance with federal regulations and the goals and objectives of the program.
- Assist with budget preparation and management.
- Assist with recruitment and selection process.
- Assist with the supervision of daily office project activities and staff.
- Assist with approving new students for the program and ensuring compliance with all U.S.
Department of Education applicable state and federal laws and university policies and
procedures.
