Job Duties
Are you someone driven by innovation, with a passion for design? VDOT Lynchburg District is looking for Senior Roadway Design Engineer who can support the Virginia Department of Transportation to keep Virginia safe and moving!
This position will provide engineering expertise in assigned program areas. Provide recommendations for resolution of project issues. Communicate with internal VDOT staff, local government staff, consultants, citizens and FHWA regarding transportation projects and programs. Assist in developing, implementing and monitoring policies, procedures, guidance and practices for engineering projects and programs.

In addition to a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, a $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. Current VDOT employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
