ON SITE POSITION--RESIDENTIAL CRISIS

Virginia Family Services (VFS) is seeking a Clinician for the Clinical Supervisor position of Clinical Supervisor of Residential Crisis. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to employees who work within the Residence.
The Clinical Supervisor will conduct assessments for those in need of Residential Crisis Services and submit authorization requests. Providing supervision to the QMHP and Residential Aides to ensure components of service are met. Care Coordination, connection to resources and other services is key to the success of this role.
EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in the Human Services field.
- Must be licensed in Virginia as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), OR Resident in Counseling by the Virginia Board of Counseling, OR Licensed Eligible Supervisee in Social Work.
- Supervisory experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Valid Virginia State Driver's License.
- Must have a reliable vehicle with proof of automobile insurance.
- Must have an acceptable driving record.
- Must meet all background check requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Understanding of ethical practices, demonstrating strong Individual relationships and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Community Mental Health Rehabilitative Services.
- Knowledgeable and Proficient in personal computer operations skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and multi-task.
- Ability to delegate work assignments and set expectations.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and teach/train others.
- Ability to apply counseling, evidence-based practices, and modalities to a full range of diverse individual populations.
