Primary Responsibilities

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with department and branch managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards, market, and needs of the company.
Builds both active and passive candidate pools / pipelines using cost-effective and efficient sourcing techniques such as internet searches, cold calls, networking, social media, college recruiting
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates, schedules interviews and oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring criteria.
Recommend system improvements on current recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective, high-quality services are provided to hiring managers.
Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and candidate quality.
Analyze data to improve recruitment strategies and processes.
Develop and maintain a network of recruiters, contacts, and candidates via proactive use of social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Attend career fairs and conferences to promote Virginia Green and deepen the pool of potential candidates.
Ensure recruitment practices comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.
Implement best practices in diversity and inclusion to promote a diverse and equitable workplace.
Execute on individual assignments and team projects

Required Qualifications / Attributes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis in providing outstanding customer service.

Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to perform in a results-driven environment

Optimistic and enthusiastic contributor to company culture including being a positive influence on hiring candidates throughout the company.

Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Willing to travel as needed.

Expertise in various recruiting methods, including direct sourcing, networking, and using applicant tracking systems (ATS). UKG preferred

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and / or equivalent experience.

At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred

Knowledge of HR and employment laws is strongly preferred

Experience searching for candidates with executive, professional and technical expertise is preferred.

Minimum Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
