Virginia Health Services is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), RN for York Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, located in Yorktown, VA. This position is a Full Time opportunity, with a $4,500 retention bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises resident care to assure quality.
- Monitors and manages systems as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
- Completes assigned duties and paperwork timely.
- Supervises nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
- Assumes role of Director of Nursing as needed.
- Assumes on-call duties.
- Promotes and demonstrates positive customer service towards VHS, co-workers, residents and visitors.
- Attends and participates in committees as assigned.
- Complies with all established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds current Virginia RN license.
- Experience/education in Gerontological Nursing required.
- Computer knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information.
