Job Duties
The Computer Center Lead Engineer (E-Government Tracks) plays a vital role in supporting DMV's customer service operations by developing, maintaining, and improving the Select application. This position is responsible for technical and functional enhancements, from initial requirement gathering through design, coding, and implementation, supporting DMV's mission to expand accessible, secure e-government services.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in designing secure, scalable applications.
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications that support DMV's digital initiatives.
Considerable experience of application and services development using Visual Basic/c#, ASP.net and HTML.
Considerable experience of developing database objects (tables/views/stored procedures) in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL
Proficiency in managing source code with Azure Dev ops / TFS
Additional Considerations
Familiarity with DMV systems (CSS, intranet applications, data exchanges/services) and e-commerce technologies.
Some experience with the Hyland/Onbase development API
Knowledge of secure coding practices for enterprise application development.
Knowledge of and participation in Agile/Kanban ceremonies (standup, refinement, prioritization, etc).
