Summary :
The Senior HR Administrator will act as a strategic partner to the Department of Surgery's leadership team, providing expert guidance utilizing both VCU and VCU Health / MCVP policies and processes across a range of HR functions including talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance. Additionally, this role will support key HR operations such as employee onboarding, benefits and leave administration, payroll / timekeeping, and terminations.
The Senior HR Administrator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating HR-related projects within the department, serving as the subject matter expert on all HR policies and procedures. This position is crucial in ensuring that HR initiatives align with departmental goals, drive employee engagement, and foster a motivated, high-performing workforce.
Working closely with department leadership, the Senior HR Administrator will help implement HR best practices, promote a culture of inclusion, and support organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
