Job Duties
Direct supervision of complex criminal/civil investigations regarding
allegations of fraud, abuse, and neglect by health care providers who are paid through the
state and federally funded program of Medicaid. Coordinate investigative efforts, in
conjunction with assigned investigative staff, with federal, state, and local authorities
when necessary to bring cases to a logical conclusion as rapidly as possible. Supervises
investigators who review voluminous records, participate and/or assist in the drafting and
execution of search warrants, draft overpayment schedules, and participate in undercover
operations. Some overnight travel required. This position will work out of the Richmond
Office.

Minimum Qualifications
- The Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and the ability to supervise and provide direction to staff.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates should have demonstrated computer proficiency with word processing and database management systems (Microsoft products preferred).
- Criminal background check will be completed on successful candidate.
- Degree in criminal justice, political science, law enforcement, or health care administration preferred. Commensurate experience reflective of law enforcement, financial auditing, and/or investigation of financial or white-collar crime will also be considered.
- Experience using Microsoft products is preferred.
