The Employee Wellness Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support to the Office of Employee Wellness and Well being (OEWW). This position provides administrative office support, creates and arranges events; promotes wellness programs and initiatives, and tracks and reports program success.
Duties And Tasks
- Support the Chief Wellness Officer (CWO) in promoting wellness programs and initiatives.
- Support the CWO by building engagement in and awareness of employee health and well being through the maintenance of the OEWW’s website, Wellness portal, social media platforms, blogs, podcasts etc.
- Ensure employees are informed of programming by utilizing effective promotional strategies and customized employee offerings based on assessment results, health data and pulse survey responses.
- Assist the CWO with presentation requests so that credible, evidence-driven content is disseminated to meet employee needs.
- Help build and maintain connections with state, college and campus wellness liaisons.
- Manage office daily operations and provide customer service.
- Systematically track, evaluate, and identify program improvement opportunities driven by variable outcome measurements.
- Serve as a point of contact within Human Resources for the functional area of Employee Wellness and Wellbeing.
- Disseminate information and resources to enhance employee well being with autonomy and minimal supervision.
- Willingness to staying abreast of advancements in workplace wellness, including technology, innovative strategies, and policy changes.
- Compile and analyze data.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
