Job Description
Within the Business Systems and Solutions department, you will work closely with internal customers, developers and team members with aim to enhance processes through client-oriented solutions, improve overall information system’s efficiency, and create value providing/ensuring adequate finance processes and tools.
The primary focus for this position will be to maintain application configurations, testing, support (issue management, request fulfillment) and provide expert analysis for our current financial applications including ERP Oracle E-Business Suite and related tools.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide system administration, techno-functional support and training for finance systems
Contribute to the standardization of finance policies and processes, focusing on efficiency and proactive monitoring
Manage and maintain financial systems, including Oracle ERP, NetSuite, Yooz, and OneStream, ensuring seamless integration with ancillary systems to meet user needs and streamline workflows
Provide accounting support for month-end closings, user training, and day-to-day troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations
Change/Incident Management-create content and provide dedicated communication to customers, coordination with external support for issue resolution
Actively participate in initiatives, projects, and implementations that align with the advancement of financial systems and future organizational goals
Create detailed test plans and comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and process flow diagrams, to support system development and enhancements
Qualifications:
Finance background: at least 3-5 years of experience. Accounting/Controlling or Financial Systems Support is a preferred background, but not limitative.
Minimum of at least two years working experience in performing business analyst functions with proficiency in several of the following areas or tracks:
Providing administration and user support for Oracle or similar ERP
Familiarity of IT system processes including life-cycle project implementations
Working knowledge of Yooz, NetSuite, or Planon applications
Able to design and challenge finance processes and to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
Ability to consider transversal finance matters (treasury, accounting, controlling and tax)
Extensive knowledge of Oracle finance systems and other supporting financial tools
Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly interpret and gather requisite information.
Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization and handle a fast paced, dynamic environment where competing interests and working multiple priorities is the norm
Excellent organizational skills, promote teamwork, problem-solving, and understanding of systems engineering concepts
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Project) preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including technical writing skills.
Eager to learn with ability to take on new subjects, as needed
Organized, self-driven and client oriented
Fluent in English, written and verbally
