The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in federal contracting — especially with 8(a) IDIQ contracts. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with Sales, Operations, and Project Management teams.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Contracting Officers and government agencies
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations
- Manage 8(a) IDIQ contracts, GSA schedules, OGS contracts, and socio-economic certifications (SDVOSB, DBE, MBE, 8(a), etc.)
- Maintain all contract documentation, amendments, reporting, and compliance metrics
- Support internal teams to understand and meet contract requirements
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures for contract management
- Stay current on regulatory changes and federal procurement trends
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field (CFCM or CPCM certification a plus)
- Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal procurement processes
- Experience managing 8(a) contracts and small business certifications
- Prior experience as a Contracting Officer, Contract Specialist, or Contractor’s Representative
- Strong familiarity with DoD procurement structure and contracting offices
- Former GS-11 , O4 , or equivalent role preferred
- Professional, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset
- Comfortable working across teams and with external government partners
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- This position is fully remote, with the option to work from our Port Washington, NY headquarters if local; work-related travel anticipated to be 10% or less
