The Project Manager is responsible for the management of Children’s Hospital of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank hospital based in Atlanta, GA. This includes overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects related to a major client with Virtual Mgr. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of Virtual Mgr’s software platforms, deployment processes, and account management goals.
Responsibilities
1. Project Planning:
· Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
· Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
· Work with implementation on new software install.
2. Team Leadership:
· Build and lead a high performing project team.
· Clearly communicate project goals, roles, responsibilities, and expectations to team members.
· Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
· Build relationships with IT team.
3. Client Interaction:
· Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and the client.
· Manage client expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.
· Regularly communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions to the client.
· 40 hours on-site flex schedule to cover all 3 shifts including weekends.
· Daily check in with corresponding managers that you are scheduled with.
4. Resource Management:
· Allocate and optimize resources to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
· Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness and profitability.
· Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks.
· Update daily task/duty lists when applicable.
5. Risk Management:
· Proactively identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
· Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
· Regularly assess and reassess project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
· Help to create “best practices” for all end users.
6. Quality Assurance:
· Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
· Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain project quality standards.
7. Communication:
· Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with external stakeholders.
· Provide timely and accurate project status updates to senior management and clients.
· Resolve conflicts and issues in a timely and diplomatic manner.
8. Project Monitoring and Reporting:
· Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
· Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track project progress against milestones.
· Provide regular reports to senior management and clients
