Assistant Controller

100K-$110K base salary (depending on experience)

North Phoenix, AZ (On-site)

Vaco has partnered with a leader in the real estate industry that is looking for their next Assistant Controller . This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company as well as high visibility to the executive team. The Assistant Controller will oversee month-end close, ensure compliance with GAAP, and manage key accounting functions, including AP, AR, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include :

  • Lead month-end close, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain and enforce accounting policies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and cost accounting.
  • Supervise inventory controls and intercompany transactions for accuracy.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field required
  • Real Estate experience required
  • CPA preferred

    • Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
