What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Virtual?
Vaco has a client hiring for a Controller in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire, onsite position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsibility for the monthly closing process.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives in operations, asset management and productivity programs.
- Work closely Corporate Finance to ensure that there is adequate documentation, process flows and support for compliance.
- Seeks out and seizes opportunities for cost reduction through process, policy and practice initiatives.
- Identify and drive operational efficiencies for accounting cycle as well as enhancing procedures and standard work instructions.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls and procedures over financial reporting including design and assessment of effectiveness of controls and procedures.
- Preparation of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
