What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Director position at Virtual?
Our client is seeking a savvy Finance Director to help oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The Finance Director will ensure processes are such to meet deadlines. You will understand and reporting and cash flow management. The ideal Finance Director would have a strong handle on accounting controls, driving finance initiatives, and providing strategic financial guidance to leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee accounting operations and the teams within.
- Develop and implement finance department policies, focusing on value creation and process improvements.
- Manage company cash flow and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.
- Administer and oversee the budgeting and Forecasting processes.
- Prepare financial forecasts and detailed reports for senior leadership on growth, revenue, profit, and loss metrics.
- Produce annual external financial statements in compliance with GAAP, subject to CPA audit.
- Administer executive compensation and manage stock plan processes, 401(k), ESOP, and Form-5500 filings and benefit plan audits.
- Lead acquisition due diligence and integration efforts in lock step with the CEO.
- Foster an internal control environment that aligns with the COSO Internal Control Framework.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Optimize and maximize the capabilities of the ERP system, implementation experience is a plus.
- Oversee treasury and banking operations to maintain financial stability.
- Serve as an internal financial consultant to the executive leadership, providing insights and guidance on financial matters.
