Virtue Recovery Houston is currently seeking a fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LMSW LPC, LPA, LMFT, LCDC LCDC-i) for a nationally accredited, evidence-based detoxification and residential program that offers treatment and support for individuals suffering from addiction. Staffed 24/7 by nurses, behavioral health technicians, and other addiction professionals with decades of combined experience in the treatment of drug addiction, alcoholism, and dual diagnosis. Virtue Recovery Houston provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to recover and learn healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Overview of the position:
Our fully licensed clinicians are responsible for providing excellent clinical care to those we serve. Clinicians ensure services are coordinated and integrated with other client care services to ensure continuity of care for each client.
Virtue Recovery Houston is seeking an applicant with the following attributes:

- Experience or intimate understanding of 12-step support groups and relating core components.

Specific job responsibilities:
- Completing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments supported by excellent clinical documentation.
- Accurate and timely documentation including daily group notes, weekly progress notes and development and updating treatment plans in concordance with state regulations
- Engages with administrative staff and department heads and identifies areas to increase the client’s treatment experience.
- Effectively conduct process groups and drive clients to explore and identify the origin that drives ongoing use.
- Ability to conduct core chemical dependency education groups and actively engage clients in the group process.
- Ability to present verbal case presentations during weekly treatment team meetings that illustrate a comprehensive understanding of clients current and future needs.
- Meeting with each client in individual sessions as clinically indicated, providing psychotherapeutic interventions and education.
- Meeting with clients within twenty-four hours of admission to establish therapeutic rapport.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must possess one of the following Texas licenses and be in good standing with the state: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCDC. Individuals with a LCDC-I do not qualify for this position.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
- Must understand the therapeutic process, understand confidentiality laws, and have strong knowledge of professional ethics
- Must demonstrate tact, initiative, resourcefulness, a professional manner, enthusiasm, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in use of electronic health records.
- Requires computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
