Job Summary:
This role is responsible for working to deploy Oracle platforms and programs including, but not limited to Oracle
Commerce Cloud. This role includes significant client engagement and leadership to complete projects and
execute Oracle solutions. Responsibility also includes working closely with off-shore / outsourced resources for
applications development, support and optimization.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement Oracle applications and ensure delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions
- throughout various projects.
- Proactively lead discussions on solution design and user story development
- Provide thought leadership
- Facilitate meetings and discovery workshops with clients' technical and functional teams to gather
- needs, wants, requirements, objectives, to brainstorm alternative solutions with project managers, and
- to help with decision making.
- Translate and map clients' business objectives and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement new enhancements including creation and customization of standard/custom
- objects, process automations, workflows, and reports.
- Ensure IT systems and applications meet the requirements of the businesses and their processes.
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.
- Participate on internal projects.
- Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Prior experience in requirements gathering, reporting tools and creating end user manuals

- Experience in writing the user stories and technical stories

- Experience implementing, managing and utilizing Oracle Commerce Cloud
- Conducting workshops, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, supporting QA testing
- efforts, business process reviews and production support.
- Gather and assess requirements and assist with translation into optimal solutions
- Perform functionality gap analysis and solution design
- Develop functional specifications for extensions, integrations and data migrations
- Configure application modules
- Demonstrate application functionality
- Develop test plans/scripts and manage system testing
- Assess production readiness
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- May assist with training members of the technical staff.
- May conduct interviews.
- Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff.
- May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Work Environment:
The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to
provide an office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and
noise level.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
Bending, sitting lifting, driving.
Position Type and expected hours of work:
Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.
