Make a Difference in Community Health
As a Dental Hygienist at this FQHC, you will be an integral part of an integrated healthcare team, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. You will work in a modern dental clinic equipped with advanced digital imaging technology, contributing to a positive and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental hygiene care to patients of all ages.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative dental care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) using digital imaging technology.
- Assist the dentist with dental procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment.
- Attend continuing education meetings.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited school.
- Valid Massachusetts license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
