- Assess critical care nursing educational needs and develop/lead learning programs
- Mentor and coach nurses to advance clinical practice and confidence
- Drive evidence-based practice initiatives and clinical standard implementation
- Serve as a consultative resource on complex patient care situations
- Participate in policy development and clinical procedure updates
- Support and engage in research, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Promote lifelong learning and a culture of excellence in nursing practice
- Master's, DNP, or Ph.D. from a Clinical Nurse Specialist program (CCNE or NLNAC accredited)
- OR currently enrolled in a CNS program
- OR equivalent advanced nursing degree with relevant experience
- 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in critical care
- Washington RN license (active upon hire)
- BLS certification (AHA) upon hire
- Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) upon hire
- Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN) upon hire
- 2 years of clinical leadership or educator experience
- $15,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates
