As RN Manager NICU, you will provide leadership, ensure patient care excellence, and manage resources to optimize NICU operations and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Overall Management: Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight of the NICU's 24/7 operations.
- Patient Care Excellence: Champion a family-centered approach, fostering a culture of compassion, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a highly skilled and motivated team.
- Clinical Expertise: Maintain a strong clinical knowledge base and stay abreast of the latest advancements.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage the department's budget and optimize staffing levels.
- Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with neonatologists, pediatricians, and other departments.
- Performance Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Required:
- Active California RN License
- BSN (in progress considered with a definitive completion date)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Current NRP certification
- Certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing from the NCC (in progress considered)
- 5 years of NICU experience, including 3 years of full-time NICU clinical experience
- Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills
- Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- NRP Instructor Certification
- Critical Care Transport Experience

Salary : $142,646 - $176,800
