Job Title: Automation Testing Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Experience Level: Mid-Level (4 6 years of expertise)
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Testing Expertise
- Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent tools.
- Skilled in developing test scripts using languages like Java, Python, or C.
Test Case Design and Execution
- Design and execute test cases for Sprint Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and Regression Testing.
- Hands-on experience managing test cases within tools like JIRA and X-ray.
Defect Reporting and Management
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or other defect management tools.
- Deliver precise defect descriptions supported by relevant evidence.
Test Planning and Strategy
- Contribute to developing comprehensive test plans for various testing phases, including Sprint, SIT, End-to-End (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure test lab preparation and optimization of test coverage.
Agile and Scrum Collaboration
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional Scrum teams, maintaining a strong understanding of Agile processes.
Functional and Business Requirements Analysis
- Analyze functional and business requirements to ensure test coverage aligns with project objectives.
