Job Title: Project Manager
Job Location: Belews Creek, NC 27009 (Hybrid)
Duration: 21 Months
Note: Candidates must be local to the area in order to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days a week onsite).
Job Description:
- This position is typically retained to manage multiple projects of varying complexity.
- The projects will be in support of Coal and Gas Power Plant strategic plan.
- The plants are generally located within a 50-mile radius of Greensboro, NC.
- Project annual budgets can range from $100K up to $5Million.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Graduation from a two-year college or university.
- Working knowledge of project management principles.
- Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from a four-year college or university.
- Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License.
- Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
- Experience in utility industry.
- Knowledge in construction management.
- The Project Manager I may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
