Job Description
The Product Analyst will be a key contributor on the Visa DPS Payment Account Solutions team. This person will support the evaluation of product opportunities, collaborate with the team to define product requirements, and work with development teams to deliver enhancements to the issuer processing system and other value-added services used by our clients, which include top financial institutions, prepaid program managers and non-traditional fintech operators.
The ideal person for this role should be comfortable working on a number of activities simultaneously, willing to take on tasks as needed, be a proven self-starter and have an interest in product management and development. To be successful the individual must maintain a high level of coordination and collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholder teams globally, including product management, information technology, and client services.
The ability to ideate solutions for client business objectives, develop requirements, and launch them effectively is a key factor to success in this role. The ideal person for this role should have a passion for technology, payments and product management, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to drive results within a complex environment.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business cases, epics, functional requirements, features and stories for existing and new services
- Lead product development projects with external and internal stakeholders to effectively build, launch, commercialize and communicate new product features
- Develop subject matter expertise to manage various aspects of the Visa DPS Payment Account Solutions platform
- Provide direction and information to the various client services teams supporting the service
- Manage day-to-day operational issues with all impacted stakeholders
- Participate in requirements prioritization, while tracking and balancing time-to-market to deliver the optimal business impact
- Contribute to the ongoing product roadmap and enhancement planning discussions
- Maintain relevant product documentation
- Demonstrate leadership principles by communicating openly, collaborating effectively, enabling and inspiring others, and excelling with partners
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Product management or product development experience
- Financial services or payments experience
- Ability to create complete, concise business and functional requirements
- Highly motivated team member who cultivates effective relationships with different levels of the organization, clients and partners to accomplish shared business priorities
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills to achieve goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to collaborate in a complex and technical organization to determine business and customer needs and to build technical solutions to meet those needs
- Creative problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of waterfall and agile (SAFe) product development methodology
- Competency using JIRA, MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Outlook and Teams

Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
