We are looking for motivated Technical Sales Design & BD Engineer to join our VPG Foil Resistors team for our West Coast territory!
This positions main goal is to generate new design wins by communicating to engineers at existing and new customers. They will help maintain existing business by making sure designs continue to use Foil Resistors. The Solutions Engineer must explore and hunt / find new customers and introduce them to Foil Resistor technology.
Applicant must reside in either of the following states : Arizona California Idaho Nevada Oregon Washington or Utah
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct weekly onsite and virtual customer visits
- Generate and manage new business opportunities in target market segments
- Cultivate relationships with design engineers and strategic accounts
- Promote VPG Foil Resistor brands : Alpha Electronics VFR Powertron and APR
- Develop strategic plans for market segment penetration
- Perform comprehensive technical consultations and product presentations
- Maintain detailed account reports and CRM documentation
- Target market segments including : Data Center Fiber Optics ATE / Semiconductor EV Battery Management Infrastructure Space Satellite Communication Industrial Automation
