Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay, Yankton, SD, is currently seeking a full-time R&D Engineering Technician Responsible for coordination of New Product Integration (NPI) from quote to production. Includes reviewing costs at quote, material, labor, scrap, and drafting NPI and existing products.

Job Location:

This position is located on-site Yankton, SD. We are situated in Southeast South Dakota: on the banks of the Missouri River and minutes from Lewis and Clark Lake where you can enjoy a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for the preparation and completion of quotation requests for NPI and existing products and coordination of customer contracts within the Magnetics and Connector Product Group. This includes but is not limited to costing materials and labor for quotation requests, working with engineering and methods and standards and utilizing experience for best processing methods and estimating times for operation steps. Providing feedback and product information such as yield and HPC through internal supply chain to update this information as needed.
• Establishes and maintains a strong working relationship between Engineering and other company departments by giving assistance in product creation and product implementation as determined by engineering.
• Assist engineering with Autocad drafting as needed for new and existing product for improved NPI timeline.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for the achievement of cost objectives and delivery of materials.
• Other duties as assigned
