Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, friendly environment.
- Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
- Collect patient demographics, verify insurance information, and secure necessary authorizations.
- Collect fees, assist with patient check-out, and submit insurance claims accurately.
- Act as a liaison between patients and staff to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Interest in healthcare.
- Must present a professional appearance.
- Prior experience in an eyecare or medical office setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster excellent patient relationships.
