We are seeking a skilled and experienced working carpentry Project Foreman to lead and actively participate in the execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, excellent leadership abilities, and the communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of labor, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Actively participate in hands-on carpentry tasks.
- Interpret and execute project plans, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members to delegate tasks, provide instructions, and solve problems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the job site and project managers, clients, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project updates.
- Order and manage materials and supplies to keep the project running efficiently.
- Mentor and train junior carpenters to develop their skills and maintain a high-quality workforce.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and building codes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with diverse groups.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Comfortable working under deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 certification or similar safety training.
- Experience in managing budgets and scheduling.
- Familiarity with project management software or tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Typical scopes: Non structural demo, layout, framing, insulating, sheathing/drywall hanging, drywall finishing, wall protection, and acoustic ceilings.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
