Position Needed:
Our client is seeking a Financial Architect/Project Manager to serve as the lead advisor for the Workday Financials team. This role will merge financial architecture expertise with hands-on project management to navigate complex business process changes, implement solutions, and drive ongoing improvements within the Workday Finance system. The current individual in this role has excelled but will transition to a new position in late March.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Workday Financials team to evaluate and address business process changes and create solutions for complex designs.
- Represent Workday within the Finance team, assessing the long-term impacts of configurations and ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Define and refine new business processes (BPs) and troubleshoot existing workflows, while relying on the team to handle configuration work.
- Lead project discussions, plan timelines, and track deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Strategize and implement solutions to achieve the Finance team's goals within the Workday system.
- Guide the Finance team in adopting and optimizing new features introduced in Workday's bi-annual releases, assessing complexity and team impacts.
- Act as a trusted advisor and analytical resource, helping to navigate challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
Current Project:
Represent the Workday Financials team in active projects, such as the Adaptive Planning implementation, ensuring proper support and alignment between the implementation team and the Workday FIN team.
