Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our GYN/URO practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical office management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly, providing high-quality care to our patients while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
2 years experience preferred
Knowledge of medical billing & coding is required.
Duties
- Manage the overall operations of the medical practice, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and sustainability of the practice.
- Oversee utilization management processes to optimize patient care and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care services and operational efficiency.
- Handle human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Implement policies and procedures that promote best practices in patient care and office management.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using medical office software systems for scheduling, billing, and record keeping.
- Knowledge of account software Peachtree/Quickbooks preferred.
- Prior experience in managing month end productivity, revenue, and expense reports preferred.
