Job Description:
The Clinical Informatics Specialist serves as a vital link between clinical staff and information technology teams, leveraging technology to enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing clinical systems, training healthcare staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in EHR configuration and optimization.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and interoperability protocols (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
- Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- On-Call Support:Availability for occasional on-call duties during system go-lives or emergencies.
- Certified Professional in Health Informatics (CPHI) or equivalent.

Responsibilities:
- System Implementation and Optimization:
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify needs and implement clinical information systems.
- Optimize system functionality to support evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes.
- Assist in the design, build, and maintenance of electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical applications.
- Workflow Analysis and Enhancement:
- Analyze clinical workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose system enhancements.
- Ensure clinical systems align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Training and User Support:
- Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff to promote effective use of systems.

Education and Experience:
